It’s a miracle that there are no kids in this picture, because they are running around all over the place, ultimately affectionate and loving towards us the moment we got there. I spent so much of my day with kids attached to me whilst trying to interview some of the residents here for our upcoming documentary.
We sat inside one couples tent, sweating, as we tried to find a secluded space in which they could share their story with us.
The people here live inside the classrooms. Multiple families all packed into one, no privacy, very little dignity, but safe.
