Second stop on our #ChristmasHappinessTour was Besh.
Besh has the most incredible story. Him and his four little brothers lost their mum when they were separated from her in Greece…they then searched 70 refugee camps to find her…
And they did….!
In Dunkirk…where we met him!
A year later and they have all successfully made it to the UK and live together in the midlands. The youngest boys are going to school and college, and the family has a lot of support after the Guardian wrote an article about them.
Besh cooked us lentil soup (with which him and his mum won a soup making competition whilst they were in France) and the boys played the most magical music for us.
Thank you Besh and fam for the amazing hospitality .
