BRITTS

Having wanted to work in the humanitarian sector since she was a child, Britts was delighted to complete her degree in Disaster Management and get out into the field. Throughout her studies, she felt deeply affected by the refugee crisis, and sought to provide assistance through knitting items for refugees and running seminars and workshops on the crisis, promoting awareness and compassion.

Britts is now based in Thessonaliki, Greece, working on the ground with Dan and Mary. Her primary role is teaching English as a foreign language to refugee minors in Elpida camp, alongside assisting Dan in all humanitarian matters across camps in this area. She also helps collaborate efforts with other responding NGOs on the ground in order to strengthen the overall response.

Britts looks forward to being trained in Search and Rescue operations in order to increase her capacity for helping others.
