We’re throwing a party for Eid in Paris this weekend, and I’m about to start cooking for 120 Afghans!
Lots of the refugees now living on the street here in Paris have been fasting for Ramadan.
Ramadan comes to an end this weekend and usually, back home, this would mean a big celebration…Eid.
However, when we asked people, no one had any plans for Eid…so we thought we would make some!
We’re cooking up a FEAST. Eggs, chicken, rice, bread and most importantly…lots of dates. We’re taking over the area underneath the bridge where many Afghans now sleep, laying down blankets and bringing musical instruments!
Please help us make it as much of a celebration as possible!
We’re expecting about 120 people, but all refugees and volunteers are welcome.
The more we raise here, the better the party can be!
