Why do people care more about discounts than they do a refugee crisis?

It’s nearly Black Friday again and it’s got me wondering…

Why is it that so many people care more about discounts, than they do a refugee crisis?

No judgement, just pure questioning. I’m trying to understand?

Why do we connect / respond more to cheap stuff than people who have no stuff at all?

If everyone gave that extra 20%, 50%, 70% they are saving over the next few days, directly to those fleeing with nothing to save their lives…

Well then, Black Friday would be amazing!

You can actually do that…
