Powerboat Rescue

Both my little foster brothers were pulled from the water by rescue workers like tribe member Brendan Woodhouse, one was 15 and unconscious, the other was only 13.

We would like to congratulate the lovely Brendan on braving the cold this weekend and completing his level 2 powerboat licence in North Shields.

Above you can see him chatting football to a couple of the refugees he helped pull from the water last year.

We are super proud to be able to fund the training of our incredible Search and Rescue team, enabling them to continue their life-saving work in the Mediterranean in 2017.

Although we may not hear about it in the news so much these days, people are still drowning in desperate attempts to flee war, persecution and genocide.

It takes an incredible person to do such heart-wrenching, traumatic work and the things that Dan, Brendan and Mary have seen will never ever leave them.

To help us continue to pay for this training:
